Nissan Trading Co. Ltd. (NITCO) was established in April 1978 in Japan as a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. In 1984, we opened our London Liaison Office, supporting the start of vehicle production at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK (NMUK) in Sunderland in 1986.
In January 1990 Nissan Trading UK Ltd. was established and a branch office opened in the Netherlands. Since then NITCO has expanded operations, delivering automotive import and export components, vehicle, steel, chemical and machinery support for Nissan and their suppliers.
In 1994 Nisan Trading UK Ltd. became Nissan Trading Europe Ltd. as the Company began to grow its business in Continental Europe. Today, NT-E has 2 Branches (Barcelona & Sunderland) , with our Head office being located in Sunderland.
The recent partnership between Renault-Nissan Alliance and Mitsubishi has deepened, and in response to this movement, we at NT-E, can confidently provide those customers and their suppliers value-added Supply Chain Management (SCM) services with maximum efficiency at the most appropriate cost.
With application of the mid-term plan “Grow our Value towards 2022”, NT-E can expect greater opportunities to contribute to the new alliance, handling common parts, common equipment and common materials which will travel all over the world. Our input will enable enhanced vehicle sales for Nissan, Renault, and Mitsubishi as well as for other customers.
The automotive industry is now changing drastically towards “zero-emission” vehicles. We are now also handling Electric Vehicle related commodities, materials and equipment in ever increasing volumes.
Whilst Europe is on the verge of potentially turbulent changes, both politically and economically, through our Strategic Planning, NT-E will continue to be the best SCM solution provider, meeting your demands and giving “Satisfaction” to all our business partners.
